Registration is now OPEN!!

Thank you for being patient as we start a new chapter in conference registration.  When you register for this years conference and all conferences in the future  the classes you attend will be reflected in your State of Alaska fire training records in the IMPACT system.  This way you and your department have access to the record of the classes you attend.  It has taken us a bit to work this out and we will probably have to make some tweaks along the way.  Any feedback you have on the system will be appreciated!!  Comments can be sent through the Contact Us form below.  


  • When I register it is asking me a lot of detailed questions like my birth date and last four of my SS#, why?
    • This year we are using the State Training program IMPACT for registration.  This information is needed to connect you to your training records.
  • Can you register a "John/Jane Doe"?
    • Yes - You will find a orange box on the registration site that will provide contact information on how to register.
  • Can I register on site?
    • Yes -But some classes may be filled so if you are thinking about attending a particular class register early.
  • If you are attending a live burn what do I need?
    • You need Firefighter I
    • A current fit test within one year of the class.  Participants will be contacted prior to conference.
    • It is encouraged that participants bring their own SCBA, mask and bottles.  A limited number will be available on site.
  • Do I need to bring my own PPE?
    • If you are attending any of the hands classes you will need to provide your own PPE (Turn-out gear)
  •  Banquet Attire  - This is "Your" awards banquet and is a formal event.
    • Class A if you have it
    • Class B if you don't
    • Suits, Dresses, a nice shirt and slacks.
    • Please no t-shirts and jeans

Special Note:    

As of September 13 at 5pm refunds will no longer be issued due to cancellation. 

registration and badge pickup

Registration will open Sunday evening from 5-9 pm at the Kenai Visitors Center located at 11471 Kenai Spur Highway, Kenai, Alaska. On Monday the registration will be open from 7-10 am at the Visitors Center then will move for the remainder of the week to the Kenai Fire Department Station 1 located at 105 S. Willow Street Kenai, Alaska. Registration will be open throughout the week from 7 am - 6 pm.

SCBA Waiver Form

If you are attending a hands on class that requires the use of an SCBA you must have this form signed by you and your training officer or Fire Chief in order to participate.  Please bring this form with you to conference.
